Location: East Belfast Salary: £17.05 per hour Permanent, Full-Time Monday to Friday | 07:00 - 15:30
Reed Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Chef Manager to join a busy and professional catering operation in East Belfast.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Chef Manager who is passionate about delivering high-quality food and exceptional service while leading a successful kitchen team. The role offers an excellent work-life balance with no evening or weekend work, operating on a Monday to Friday schedule from 07:00 to 15:30.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen and catering service Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team Ensure the delivery of high-quality food and service standards Manage stock control, ordering and supplier relationships Monitor food costs and work within budgetary requirements Ensure compliance with Food Safety, HACCP, Health & Safety and company procedures Plan and deliver varied, nutritious menus Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene Manage staffing levels, rotas and training requirements
Essential Criteria
Previous experience as a Chef Manager, Head Chef or in a senior catering management role Strong leadership and people management skills Experience managing budgets, stock control and food costs Excellent knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards Strong organisational and communication skills
