High Growth Financial Services Oxford Our Client Mackie Myers have partnered with a rapidly growing, regulated SME in Oxford to appoint a Finance Manager into their expanding finance function. This is an exciting opportunity to join the business at a key stage of growth, taking ownership of core finance activities while helping to develop robust processes, controls and reporting as the organisation scales. The Role The Finance Manager will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls and effective cash management. Working closely with the senior leadership team, the role will provide meaningful financial insight to support commercial decision-making, while helping the business strengthen its finance processes and systems as it continues to grow. Main Duties
Lead the production of accurate monthly management accounts and financial reporting Prepare budgets, forecasts and cashflow projections, analysing key variances Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure financial controls are maintained Support statutory accounts, audit and regulatory reporting requirements Manage VAT and other relevant compliance requirements Provide financial analysis and insight to support strategic and commercial decision-making Develop and improve finance processes, controls and reporting systems Manage and mentor members of the finance team Work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing effective financial business partnering Support the implementation and improvement of finance systems and processes Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls and financial visibility Ensure the business remains compliant with relevant financial and regulatory requirements The Successful Candidate
ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent Experience working within a regulated environment or highly controlled industry Strong understanding of UK accounting principles, financial controls and compliance Experience within an SME or scaling organisation, ideally within a high-growth environment Strong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting experience Experience using ERP or finance systems, with strong Excel skills Commercially minded, analytical and able to communicate financial information effectively Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working in a changing and growing environment Experience managing or mentoring finance professionals What's on Offer?
