FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established residential housebuilder with the recruitment of a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
Permanent, full-time position based in Glasgow , with travel to sites.
Monday - Friday
Salary

Key Responsibilities
Take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of housing developments. Manage projects from initial procurement through to final account. Set, monitor and manage project budgets. Place subcontractor and supplier orders. Produce accurate commercial reports and cost forecasts. Monitor material costs and project expenditure. Liaise closely with subcontractors, site teams and other internal departments. Ensure commercial activity is completed in line with company procedures. Support and provide guidance to junior members of the commercial team. Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout project delivery.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction. Residential housebuilding experience would be highly advantageous. Strong commercial, budgeting and cost-management experience. Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification such as a degree, HND or equivalent. RICS qualification or progress towards professional accreditation would be beneficial. Full UK driving licence required.
