Assistant Quantity Surveyor position dealing with a range of commercial & industrial roofing systems across education, healthcare and public sectors Prepare cost estimates, budgets, quotations, and tender submissions including labour, materials, prelims, and programme considerations Work closely with the Senior Contracts Manager to ensure each project is running successfully Building strong working relationships with clients and subcontractors Review project specifications, drawings and contract documentation to identify commercial requirements
Working multiple projects at one time, varying in size from £50k - £1m+
The ideal applicant will be an Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Roofing with:
Must have Quantity Surveying experience within the construction / trade sector Highly advantageous to be an Assistant / Junior Quantity Surveyor within roofing Beneficial to possess a related degree (quantity surveying, construction management etc.) Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs Excellent communication skills both written and verbally Full UK driving license
