Band 6 Locum CT/General Radiographer
Location: Scotland Start Date: ASAP Duration: Until 26/02/2025 Working Hours: 09:00 am - 05:00 pm, Monday to Friday Pay Rate: Flexible
We are seeking a proficient Band 6 CT/General Radiographer to join our team in Scotland. This temporary position offers a chance to work in a dynamic healthcare setting, contributing to high-quality imaging services that are vital for patient diagnosis and care. The role is suitable for a radiographer with experience in both CT and general radiography, looking to enhance their skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Band 6 CT/General Radiographer, you will be responsible for conducting a variety of CT and general radiographic examinations. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging services, adhering to safety protocols and best practices. Your role will involve preparing patients, performing imaging procedures, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide accurate diagnostic information. You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment, managing patient records, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the radiology department.
Requirements:
HCPC registration as a Radiographer
Experience in both CT and general radiography
Knowledge of imaging protocols, safety standards, and radiation protection
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare setting
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
