Due to a restructure, our client in the charity sector based in Central London is now looking to bring on board a strong Qualified Finance Manager. The role is a six-month fixed-term contract, likely to be extended. Your role will be to carry out monthly checks, ensuring accuracy of financial data and reconciliations. Reporting to the Finance Director, the job description is as follows:
Responsibilities of the Finance Manager Role
Oversee the preparation and production of the monthly draft financial information Ensure effective cash flow budgeting/forecasting and Treasury management Manage the Accounts Payable Team, ensuring efficient financial procedures and maintaining the appropriate financial controls are in place Oversee and manage the purchase order system from processing of supplier invoices to payment, processing of staff expenses including reimbursement, and company credit cards
Requirements of the Finance Manager Role
ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified with a minimum of 3 years PQE Proven track record of managing and developing a team Advanced Microsoft Excel, including the ability to set up multi-sheet, multi-file financial models Charity, service or contract-driven background is a huge bonus
