Our client, a Multi-Academy Trust based in Leicester, is looking for a Finance Manager to lead financial accounts, financial systems, controls and transactional finance across all academies and central services.
Key responsibilities:
Lead administration and development of PS Financials, iComplete and related finance systems Maintain financial controls, chart of accounts and compliance with the Academy Trust Handbook Manage and develop a small finance team (Finance Assistant and Finance Apprentices) Lead the review and reconciliation of key financial control accounts, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner Oversee purchase and sales ledger functions, ensuring supplier payments and income collection support effective cash flow Maintain the integrity of financial records, coding structures and the chart of accounts Support internal and external audits with evidence of financial controls and compliance Manage and develop finance support staff, including a Finance Assistant and Finance Apprentice(s)
The ideal candidate will be fully qualified, possessing Education Sector or Public Sector experience and be immediately available.
