Group Management Accountant | Leeds | £50,000 - £55,000 depending upon experience + benefits I'm working with a leading global consultancy who are looking for a Group Management Accountant to join them in Leeds, reporting to the Group Financial Controller. This is a role that sits right at the centre of group finance. You'll lead the monthly management reporting cycle, run consolidation for quarterly forecasts and the annual budget, and be the person turning numbers from finance teams around the world into something the board and the parent can actually use. It's a genuinely international role, you'll be working with finance teams across the UK, Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, India and Asia Pacific, pulling their reporting together and driving consistency across the group. The management accounts go to internal stakeholders and up to the group's Middle Eastern parent. If you're a management accountant or group reporting accountant in a complex organisation wanting broader international exposure, or someone ready to step into a group-level role with real reach - this is built for you. What you'll own Preparing and delivering the monthly Group management accounts, for both internal stakeholders and the parent. Leading the preparation and consolidation of quarterly Group forecasts, and coordinating the annual Group budgeting process, including consolidation and Board reporting packs. Making sure financial information is accurate, consistent and submitted on time across the whole group, working hand in hand with finance teams across every region. You'll also support central treasury — day-to-day banking relationships, bond applications and guarantees, and administering the online banking platforms. And you'll act as a key user and subject-matter expert for the ERP system, supporting reporting enhancements and system development, while driving continuous improvement across reporting, automation and controls. What they're looking for A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA), or someone in the latter stages of qualifying, with experience in management accounting, group reporting or financial reporting within a complex organisation. A strong grounding in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, and comfort working with reporting and consolidation systems. Advanced Excel, with the ability to get into large data sets and make them tell a story. Someone analytical and detail-focused who'll also challenge and improve the systems and processes around them. Strong communication matters too, you'll be engaging finance colleagues across the group, at all levels, so the confidence to build those relationships counts for a lot.
