An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a family-run, established chartered certified accountancy practice in Ledbury.
They are seeking an experienced AAT qualified or ACCA part-qualified accountant who has worked within an accountancy practice setting and is confident preparing accounts, VAT returns and working papers.
You’ll join a friendly team and work with a varied portfolio of interesting and growing clients.
Responsibilities:
-Preparing year-end accounts and working papers
-Bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns
-Preparing management accounts
-Providing ad-hoc accounting support to a varied client portfolio
-Acting as the first point of contact for clients regarding bookkeeping queries
-Supporting clients with their transition to cloud-based accounting software
-Working independently and managing your workload effectively
Candidate Attributes:
-AAT qualification or ACCA part-qualification
-Prior experience within an accountancy practice
-Experience with accounting software
-A proactive approach and the ability to work on your own initiative
-Good communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients
Hours: The office operates Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, full or part time hours can be considered, please disclose your required working hours upon application

-£30,000 – £40,000 per annum (pro rata) depending on experience
