A job opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Project Manager / IT and Cyber Security Project Manager to join a highly established organisation during a period of rapid technical and business transformation. The IT Project Manager will join an innovative and fast-paced IT team during a period of transition and transformation. You will be responsible for delivering a range of high-profile IT and Cyber Security projects within a multi-year technology programme, whilst liaising with several key stakeholders. Reporting to the IT Programme Manager for Cyber Security programmes, you will work closely with the IT Business Analysts and key business sponsors/stakeholders to support workload management, dependencies, strategic alignment, and progress. You will take responsibility for the end-to-end project delivery of the required solution, managing the project with full control of scope, risks, and budgets. You will work closely with IT colleagues to review business requirements, match to appropriate solutions, and manage any external tender selection processes alongside the procurement team where appropriate. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
A proven track record of having worked as an IT Project Manager, including experience of having delivered highly regulated projects Experience of delivering IT projects in the Utilities sector or for Utilities clients would be a distinct advantage Experience delivering IT and Cyber Security projects Experience working in a highly regulated industry (e.g. Energy/Utilities/Defence/Nuclear/Government etc.) Knowledge of managing projects in a largely outsourced environment Considerable IT delivery, project & portfolio management experience Project implementation expertise Degree level education or equivalent is essential Hold a Prince2 Practitioner, Managing Successful Programmes (MSP), PMP or equivalent Project management qualification ITIL experience / qualification would be an advantage Excellent senior stakeholder management, supplier management and communication skills
