We're delighted to be partnering with a leading, global professional services organisation based on the outskirts of Manchester city centre, who are seeking a proactive and detail oriented Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join their growing finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of the month-end process whilst gaining broader exposure to business partnering and commercial analysis. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business and play an important role in supporting decision making as the company continues to grow.
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Key Responsibilities of the Part-Qualified Management Accountant position will include:
Preparation of monthly management accounts, journals, accruals and prepayments Owning balance sheet reconciliations for designated companies Support the budgeting and forecasting process Producing management reporting, variance analysis and commentary Assisting in the preperation of financial models Business partnering with non-finance stakeholders to provide financial insight Help with preparing audit documentation and liaising with auditors Assisting with ad hoc commercial analysis to support decision making
Key Skills & Experience Required:
Part-Qualified and working towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or Finalist level Proven month end reporting experience within a previous management accounting role Sound Excel and ERP system skills Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting financial data to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
