Software Engineer
Location: Manchester City Centre (Hybrid) Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Benefits
The Role
We're working with an established digital technology business looking to add a Software Engineer (Web Platform) to their growing engineering team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on modern, cloud-hosted web platforms, building scalable applications used by a range of well-known clients. You'll work across backend services, APIs and cloud infrastructure, while also having the opportunity to contribute to frontend development where appropriate.
Working within a collaborative product team, you'll be involved throughout the software development lifecycle, helping to deliver secure, high-performing and maintainable applications using modern engineering practices.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain modern web applications using C#/.NET and TypeScript . Build and enhance REST APIs, backend services and third-party integrations. Contribute to cloud-based applications hosted within Microsoft Azure . Work alongside engineers, designers and product teams to deliver new features. Help improve software quality through automated testing, CI/CD and code reviews. Support scalable, secure and performant application architecture. Contribute to technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You
You'll have commercial experience developing modern web applications and be comfortable working across backend services and cloud technologies. Experience with both C#/.NET and TypeScript would be ideal, although stronger expertise in one alongside exposure to the other will also be considered.
You'll enjoy working collaboratively, have a passion for clean, maintainable code, and be keen to continue developing your technical skills within a supportive engineering environment.
