Recruit4staff are representing a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing business in their search for a Microbiology Associate to work in Wrexham
Job Details:
Pay: £16.18 - £18.13 per hour (DOE) inclusive of 24% shift allowance Hours of Work: 4 on 4 off, 8:00am to 7:00pm, with flexibility on start and finish times Duration: Temporary (6 months)
Job Role: The Microbiology Associate will support the QC Microbiology team by carrying out routine microbiological testing and environmental monitoring activities in accordance with GMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements. The Microbiology Associate will contribute to product quality and sterility assurance by ensuring laboratory activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with documented procedures. The successful Microbiology Associate will manage their own training and development, support continuous improvement initiatives, and help maintain a safe, compliant, and inspection-ready laboratory environment. This opportunity is ideal for candidates looking to establish a career as a Microbiology Associate within the pharmaceutical sector.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
Recent bio-science degree qualification, ideally in Microbiology Previous laboratory experience within an academic or industrial environment Strong understanding of GMP and GLP procedures Accurate data recording and documentation skills Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
Experience in a GMP-regulated microbiology laboratory role Proficiency in microbiological techniques, including environmental monitoring Knowledge of pharmaceutical quality control processes
