Management Accountant Location: Kidderminster Salary: £45,000 - £50,000p/a Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Are you a part qualified accountant looking to take the next step in your career? We're seeking a proactive and commercially minded Management Accountant to join a growing business and play a key role in delivering high quality financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis. Working closely with the team, you'll act as a trusted finance business partner, providing valuable insight to support operational performance, cost control, and strategic decision making across the site. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, including full P&L, balance sheet reporting, and variance analysis. Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting. Support budgeting and forecasting activities, including regular re-forecasts and detailed variance commentary. Produce cash flow forecasts and reporting. Deliver operational and financial performance reports to support business decision making. Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register, including additions, disposals, and depreciation calculations. Act as a key finance contact for operational teams, providing financial support and guidance across the business. Support payroll accounting processes and ensure accurate monthly payroll reporting. Manage accounting for finance leases, loans, and other financing arrangements. Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are reviewed and fully reconciled. Assist with year-end audit preparation, liaising with auditors and providing supporting schedules and analysis.
About You We're looking for a motivated finance professional who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and can confidently translate financial information into meaningful business insight. You'll ideally have:
Part-qualified status (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) or be actively studying towards a professional qualification. Strong management accounting knowledge, including budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting, and financial analysis. Experience of ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Business Central, or similar. Advanced Excel skills and confidence analysing large volumes of data. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines within a busy environment. A collaborative approach combined with the confidence to work independently.
