Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 31st October 2025
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience
Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking a confident and experienced Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join the team at Alexandra Park Health Centre in Manchester. This locum role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive clinical environment, delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services to a varied caseload.
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialist assessment and intervention for patients with communication and swallowing difficulties
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care and rehabilitation
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Contribute to service development and uphold best practice standards
Requirements
HCPC registration (required)
RCSLT membership (required)
NHS experience (beneficial but not essential)
Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage a full-time caseload
