We are partnering with a major UK organisation undergoing a significant finance technology transformation to recruit a Finance, Enterprise Architect.
This is a senior architecture role that sits within Finance, leading process, systems and solution design across the Finance technology landscape, with a particular focus on SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformation. This role is suited to someone with strong end-to-end Finance process knowledge who understands how technology and ERP systems enable Finance operations. Deep SAP expertise is not a necessity. Experience could come from SAP, Oracle, Dynamics or another major ERP environment.
Key responsibilities:
Lead the requirements and business analysis phase across Finance transformation initiatives Translate Finance processes and business needs into clear enterprise-level solution designs Own change end-to-end, from initial design and requirements through implementation, testing and adoption Understand the operational impact of system changes across areas such as journals, approvals, controls, reconciliations and reporting Work across ERP platforms, integrations and cross-system data flows to ensure solutions work effectively across the Finance landscape Partner closely with Finance and Technology teams, articulating the business impact of technical decisions without needing to be the deepest technical expert in the room
We are looking for someone with a strong grounding in Finance processes, ERP-enabled transformation and business analysis, who knows what good looks like from design through to implementation.
Broad ERP experience is key. SAP exposure is useful, but this is not an SAP specialist role.
