Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office / 2 WFH
This is a hands-on BI and data role, taking ownership of a business-critical reporting and data platform covering an Enterprise Data Warehouse, Microsoft Power BI/Fabric and Azure Data Factory.
You'll combine strong technical skills with application ownership, troubleshooting and stakeholder engagement.
What we're looking for
Expert SQL skills, including stored procedures and functions Strong Power BI and DAX experience Strong data warehousing knowledge - Kimball and/or Inmon Semantic modelling and paginated reporting experience Hands-on Azure Data Factory experience REST API and/or OData integration experience Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability Excellent stakeholder communication skills
Key responsibilities
Own and support key BI and data applications Manage upgrades, enhancements, defects and security updates Develop and optimise reporting and data solutions Build and maintain integrations and data flows Troubleshoot complex application and data issues Work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions Manage third-party vendors and support cases Maintain technical documentation, governance and change controls Help shape the future roadmap of the BI and data platform
Desirable experience includes Microsoft Fabric, Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, ALM Toolkit, DevOps/CI/CD and previous experience within legal, professional services or another regulated environment.
