Architect / Architectural Technologist - Residential
Location: Leicester Job Type: Permanent Experience: 8+ years UK construction experience
About the Role
An established architectural practice is looking for an experienced Architect, Architectural Technologist or Architectural Technician to join its residential team.
You will work across a range of projects, taking responsibility for delivering high-quality architectural and technical information while working closely with colleagues, clients and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Job running and managing multiple projects across different stages.
Producing detailed technical and construction information.
Responding to site queries and providing technical solutions.
Working with residential developers and project teams.
Attending site visits, design team meetings and client/contractor meetings.
Producing clear, accurate and well-structured drawings.
Supporting colleagues and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Ensuring projects are delivered to agreed deadlines and standards.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong UK experience within the residential sector.
A minimum of 8 years' experience working on construction projects in the UK .
Previous experience running or leading projects.
Strong technical and construction knowledge.
Good understanding of Building Regulations and technical detailing.
Experience working in a fast-paced development environment.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider team.
Competent Revit skills and experience delivering projects using the software.
A proactive, assertive and solution-focused approach.
Desirable Experience
Experience across sectors such as residential development, care, heritage or other technically complex projects would be advantageous.
