Job Title: Specialty Doctor in Histopathology Grade : Specialty Location : Bristol Contract : 12-months fixed-term, with CESR support Rate : £55,825 to £90,000 a year pro rata per annum
We are looking for a Specialty Doctor in Histopathology to join an established Histopathology service in Bristol. This role involves providing comprehensive Histopathology care and supporting the imaging service. We’re looking for a Specialty Doctor in Histopathology to join an NHS Trust in South West England. The successful applicant will be joining a busy district hospital with a broad range of cancer specialties. The successful applicant will form part of a team of Consultant Histopathologists, an existing specialty doctor, secretarial and laboratory support staff providing histopathology reporting services including multidisciplinary team meetings for clinicians and GPs within the local areas. This post will allow for the provision of greater cover and support to the Histopathology Team to meet the commitments for timely and accurate reporting of cases.

As a Specialty Doctor in Histopathology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating conditions using imaging techniques, managing patient care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise will be vital in guiding teams to deliver high-quality Histopathology services and ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications and Experiences
Medical degree and valid medical license.
FRCR or equivalent.
Applicants must have GMC registration or be eligible to join the register within 6-months.
Applicants for the substantive position must have GMC specialist registration or be eligible to join the specialist register within 6-months.
Proven experience as a Specialty Doctor in Histopathology.
