Our client, a leading Housing Contractor are looking for a Project Manager to take full responsibility for the successful delivery of aids and adaptations projects across occupied social housing properties throughout Birmingham. This is an opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work, delivering essential adaptations that enable residents to live independently and safely within their homes.

Our client are a well known Social Housing contractor with an enviable portfolio of contracts based across the Midlands looking to add a PM to the team delivering planned works and aids and adaptations projects.
Description
As Project Manager, you will oversee projects from inception through to completion, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with operational teams, local authority stakeholders, residents, and supply chain partners, you will manage a varied portfolio of adaptation projects including:
Level access shower installations Disabled access ramps Platform and stair lifts Structural alterations Property extensions Specialist adaptation works

Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of aids and adaptations projects across North and South Birmingham. Manage and support a team of approximately 4-6 operational staff. Ensure all projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, local authorities, stakeholders, and residents. Monitor project performance, quality standards, and customer satisfaction. Coordinate subcontractors and supply chain partners to ensure successful project delivery. Drive compliance with health and safety standards and company procedures. Provide regular reporting on programme performance, budgets, and project outcomes.
Profile
The ideal candidate for this role will be an established Project Manager with experience delivering social housing projects, ideally within the aids and adaptations sector.
You'll be comfortable managing multiple schemes simultaneously, leading teams, engaging with residents, and building trusted client relationships.
Proven experience delivering projects within the social housing sector. Strong understanding of aids and adaptations works. Experience managing projects within occupied residential properties. Ability to lead operational teams and manage subcontractors effectively. Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills. Commercial awareness and budget management experience. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
