Fire and Security Engineer
An exciting opportunity to join our team at Flash Security, for a skilled Fire and Security Engineer to carry out installation, servicing and maintenance of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems across London and surrounding areas.

SALARY: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Car + Benefits
LOCATION: Orpington, Greater London (covering +/- 40 Miles)

JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Fire and Security Engineer based in Orpington, covering London and surrounding areas within approximately 40 miles.
As a Fire and Security Engineer you will deliver high-quality installation, servicing and maintenance of fire alarms, intruder alarm systems, CCTV and access control solutions. Working across commercial and residential sites, you will ensure systems are fully compliant with industry standards and codes of practice.
The Fire and Security Engineer will be confident working independently, managing jobs from start to finish, completing documentation and providing a professional, safe and tidy service on-site.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Fire and Security Engineer include:
System Installation: Install and commission fire alarm systems (including Advanced, Apollo, Kentec and C-TEC panels), intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems Service & Maintenance: Carry out routine servicing, fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance Intruder Alarm Systems: Work confidently with Texecom and Galaxy systems CCTV Systems: Install and maintain Hikvision, Avigilon and Dahua IP CCTV systems Access Control: Install and configure Paxton and ACT access control systems Testing & Compliance: Complete system testing, ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes of practice Documentation: Accurately complete paperwork, test sheets and handover documentation Networking Support: Configure basic networking including adding devices, assigning IP addresses and connecting equipment Customer Service: Maintain a professional, safe and tidy approach when working on client sites
