Our client, a leading aerospace organisation is seeking a Finance Manager to join its permanent finance team. Reporting to the UK Financial Controller, the role will support accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls and effective business partnering across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage treasury activities, including daily bank account reviews and regular bank reconciliations Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis, commentary and intercompany reconciliations Support month-end reporting and other financial deliverables for the UK Financial Controller Oversee vendor management activities, including the onboarding and validation of suppliers through SAP Ariba Manage monthly and ad-hoc recharges for salaries, expenses and other costs Support internal and external audits, including taking ownership of closing internal audit findings where required Assist with statutory tax submissions, corporate queries and other financial returns Prepare finance sections of operational performance reporting for Executive Board review
Job Requirements:
ACCA or CIMA qualified Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience in a fast-paced business environment Experience in financial reporting, treasury management, balance sheet reconciliations and audit support Proficiency in accounting software; experience with SAP would be advantageous Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisational abilities High level of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Additional Responsibilities:
You will be expected to prioritise workloads effectively, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support process efficiency across the finance function. The role also requires adherence to company policies, financial controls, business ethics, export controls and Environmental Health and Safety requirements, while maintaining positive working relationships across internal departments.
