Electrical Field Engineer
UK wide travel (can be located anywhere in the UK but must be happy to travel and stay away at least twice a week)
Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum plus travel expenses
VIQU have partnered with an international organisation who are hiring for multiple Electrical Field Engineers across the UK.
The role will involve UK wide travel to sites, to carry out the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment (CCTV, ANPR Cameras, Solar Systems ect.).
The ideal candidate will have some experience with electrical installation, wiring and maintenance, electrical certifications (NVQ Level 3 at a minimum), and hold a clean UK driving license.
Job duties of the Electrical Field Engineer:
Install, decommission, and maintain a range of electrical systems (ANPR, CCTV, Solar Systems ect.). Inspect, diagnose and repair system faults. Work at heights to install basic electrical systems. Travel across the UK to sites. Utilise a range of power and hand tools in a safe manner.
Experience required for the Electrical Field Engineer
Qualifications in electrical installation & maintenance (NVQ Level 3 at a minimum with 18 Edition, Inspection and Test and ECS Gold Card being nice to have qualifications). Previous experience with basic electrical systems installation and maintenance. Previous experience with cable installation (Cat 5 & 6 networking and data). Understanding of single and three phase systems, commercial lighting systems, and control systems including contactors. Working knowledge of I.P. addresses and configuration. Full clean UK driving license.
