Senior Quantity Surveyor – Tier 1 Contractor
Location: Welwyn Garden City
Salary: £85,000–£95,000 + Car/Allowance + Benefits
A leading Tier 1 main contractor is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their London & Home Counties division. This is a great opportunity to work on high-value DfE projects and progress your career within a stable, well-respected business.

What You’ll Be Doing
Lead commercial management across multiple projects Produce accurate cost reports, forecasts and commercial advice Manage your own projects independently Oversee procurement, subcontractor management and change control Support 2-stage tenders and framework schemes Work closely with project teams to ensure commercial targets are met Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and internal teams
What We’re Looking For
Tier 1 main contractor experience (essential) DfE project experience on schemes (essential) Strong background managing your own projects Experience with 2-stage procurement Good understanding of construction methods and sequencing HNC/Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management RICS membership (or working towards) is beneficial Strong communication and negotiation skills
