Temporary Contract | 30 Hours per Week | September Start
Reed Further Education are seeking an experienced Lecturer in Accounting to join a successful sixth form provision from September. This is a temporary assignment expected to run for the entirety of the first term through to the Christmas break, offering 30 hours per week.
Working Pattern
Monday Tuesday morning Wednesday Thursday Friday afternoon
Key Responsibilities
Deliver AQA A Level Accounting to sixth form students Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the AQA specification Prepare students for examinations and assessments Monitor student progress and provide appropriate support Maintain accurate records and contribute to departmental activities
Essential Requirements
Previous experience teaching A Level Accounting Strong knowledge of the AQA A Level Accounting specification Ability to teach A Level students effectively Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or a related subject containing substantial Accounting content Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, Cert Ed or equivalent)
Desirable Requirements
Experience teaching Year 13 students Ability to teach Business Studies or Economics
