Animal Care Lecturer - Full-Time Temporary Location: Greater Manchester Contract: Full-time, temporary Rate of pay: £30 - £40 per hour Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Animal Care Lecturer to join our college in Greater Manchester on a full-time temporary basis. You will deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across the Animal Care programmes, supporting students to develop the practical skills, knowledge and confidence required for further study and employment within the animal care sector. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Animal Care lessons across relevant levels and programmes.
- Provide practical and theoretical teaching in a range of animal care topics.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback on student work and progress.
- Support students to achieve their academic and vocational goals.
- Maintain high standards of animal welfare, health and safety.
- Contribute to course planning, quality improvement and enrichment activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide an outstanding student experience.
About You We are looking for someone who is passionate about animal care and education, with the ability to inspire and motivate learners. You will have:
- Relevant qualifications and/or substantial industry experience in Animal Care.
- Experience of teaching, training or supporting learners, preferably within further education.
- Strong practical knowledge of animal welfare and husbandry.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
