Business Analyst - Product Marketing

About the Role
We are looking for a Business Analyst - Product Marketing to join a growing commercial team in Birmingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or experienced candidate with strong analytical and Excel skills who is looking to develop a career in product management, product marketing or commercial strategy.
You will work closely with Product Managers, using data and market insight to support commercial decisions, identify opportunities and improve product performance.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse sales, profitability, pricing, margins and market performance. Produce reports, dashboards and analysis to support business decisions. Research market trends, customer demand, competitors and industry developments. Monitor competitor products, pricing, launches and positioning. Maintain accurate product, pricing and market data. Support Product Managers with product updates, business cases, projects and reporting. Prepare clear presentations and summaries for internal stakeholders. Identify trends, opportunities and risks from both internal and external data.
About You
You will ideally have:
A degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Analytics or a related subject. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP and data analysis. Good PowerPoint and Microsoft Office skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate insights clearly. A genuine interest in products, markets, pricing and commercial strategy. Experience with Power BI would be beneficial but is not essential.
