An excellent opportunity for an experienced Corporate Solicitor to join Mills & Reeve as a Knowledge Lawyer, supporting a nationally recognised Corporate team with know-how, training, legal updates, innovation and AI adoption. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the firm, you will help drive technical excellence, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the practice.

Description
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will work alongside the firm's existing Corporate Knowledge Lawyers, providing technical legal support and strategic knowledge management to the national Corporate team. The role combines legal expertise with innovation, helping lawyers and clients benefit from improved precedents, training, legal technology and evolving market developments.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing, maintaining and enhancing corporate precedents, know-how resources and automated document suites. Providing technical legal guidance to corporate lawyers across the firm. Delivering internal and external legal training, updates and thought leadership content. Supporting the adoption of legal technology, document automation and AI solutions. Collaborating with Knowledge, Technology, Digital and Business Development teams on innovation initiatives. Conducting legal and market research to identify trends, risks and client opportunities. Supporting pitches, tenders and client-facing knowledge initiatives. Gathering and analysing transaction know-how to enhance best practice and service delivery.
Profile
About You
You will be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales with at least five years' PQE gained within a high-quality corporate practice. Previous PSL or Knowledge Lawyer experience would be advantageous, although strong candidates from fee-earning backgrounds will also be considered.
You will also demonstrate:
Strong technical corporate law expertise. Interest and experience in legal technology, document automation and AI tools. Excellent research, drafting and communication skills. Strong organisational and project management capabilities. The ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders. A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for continuous improvement and innovation.
