We are currently seeking a dedicated GCSE Maths Lecturer to join our academic team at a prestigious institution in Southwest London. This part-time, temporary role offers a competitive hourly rate and is ideal for an individual who is passionate about mathematics and committed to delivering high-quality education to students preparing for their GCSE exams.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and comprehensive lectures on the GCSE Maths curriculum, covering a range of topics to ensure student readiness for exams. Develop and prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to effectively teach and evaluate students. Assess and grade students' coursework, assignments, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support their progress. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress to monitor and report on student achievements. Required Skills & Qualifications:
A degree in Mathematics, Education, or a closely related field. Proven experience teaching Maths at the GCSE level, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and exam requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and inspiring students. Ability to manage a classroom effectively, ensuring a productive learning environment. Flexibility to work part-time and adapt to the scheduling needs of the institution.
