About the Role
We're looking for caring and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our friendly team in Sevenoaks, supporting adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, epilepsy, communication needs and those receiving end-of-life care within a residential service.
Conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Sevenoaks railway station, the service provides personalised, person-centred support to help people live as independently as possible while achieving their goals and enjoying meaningful lives.
As part of the role, you'll support people to access appointments, activities and the local community, so you'll need a full UK driving licence and be comfortable driving our service vehicles.
What You'll Be Doing
No two days are ever the same. As a Support Worker, you'll:
Support people to live as independently as possible while promoting choice, dignity and respect
Encourage participation in hobbies, activities and community life
Help people build and maintain relationships with family, friends and their local community
Assist with cooking, shopping, budgeting and maintaining a clean, comfortable home
Provide respectful, person-centred personal care tailored to individual needs
Support people with health appointments, daily routines and emotional wellbeing
Drive the service vehicles to enable people to access appointments and activities
Celebrate achievements and help create meaningful moments every day
