The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level IT Systems Developer to join a small, collaborative IT team within an established organisation.
This is a great role for a developer who has moved beyond junior level and is looking for the opportunity to take ownership of defined development work, contribute to important business systems, and play an active role in improving and modernising existing technology.
The environment offers plenty of scope to broaden your technical knowledge, work across a range of systems and technologies, and contribute to the future development of the organisation's IT function.
Technical Requirements
You will ideally have strong commercial development experience with:
C# and .NET Framework WinForms development , including maintaining and enhancing legacy applications Blazor SQL Server , including database design and performance optimisation Experience integrating systems and managing data across multiple platforms Strong understanding of software development principles, testing and version control
Experience with legacy technologies or applications is also valuable, particularly where you have worked with technologies such as VB.NET or Delphi .
Desirable Experience
Experience modernising legacy systems and moving towards more maintainable architectures Experience within manufacturing, logistics or another operational environment Exposure to ERP systems Experience integrating multiple business systems and managing data flows between them Experience with DevExpress or other third-party development components Experience with VBA Exposure to modern web-based .NET technologies such as ASP.NET Core
