Principal Project Manager
Location: Andover Salary: Competitive + Benefits Security Clearance: Must be eligible for SC Clearance
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead complex engineering and defence high valued projects.
Reporting to the Programme Director, you will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while managing customer relationships and leading cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end project delivery within cost, schedule, and quality targets. Manage customer and stakeholder relationships. Oversee project plans, budgets, forecasting, and reporting. Identify and mitigate project risks. Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams. Manage subcontractors and delivery partners. Support bid and business development activities.
About You
Proven project management experience within defence, engineering, manufacturing environments . Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. Experience managing project finances, schedules, and resources. Proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word. Degree or equivalent technical/engineering background.
Desirable
Defence or MoD experience. APMP, PRINCE2, or similar qualification. Knowledge of risk management and quality systems (ISO 9001).
