Aucerna is the leading global provider of solutions for integrated planning in upstream oil and gas. Our software connects all E&P data and workflows from strategy to execution through innovative technology, expert consulting and first-rate customer service. Aucerna was formed in 2018 through the merger of 3esi-Enersight and Palantir Solutions, combining the expertise of the oil and gas industry’s top two software solution providers to form the new market leader. We are a global team with offices in Canada, the UK, US, Spain, Australia, the Middle-East, Singapore and India. Aucerna provides a work environment that is entrepreneurial, fast-paced and varied. Our employees are commercially minded self-starters, comfortable working both independently and collaborating with colleagues and clients. Everyone at Aucerna takes pride in delivering solutions that exceed client expectations and developing new ideas to enhance our services and products. The C# Full Stack Developer role will suit someone with a strong foundation in C# or Java (back-end and Web APIs) and JavaScript (front-end) development. Working within a Scrum-based team, you will be writing code for Aucerna’s next generation corporate planning solutions, which support strategic decision making and capital planning in the oil and gas industry. The PlanningSpace platform is a fully enterprise multi-tiered, multi-tenanted application, that handles large volumes of data, with a powerful calculation engine used to perform cash flow forecasting. As we pursue a cloud-native strategy you will be involved in evolving existing WPF front-end applications to native HTML5 web applications and associated Web APIs. Your role may touch on any aspect from building JavaScript Single Page Applications using modern frameworks, adding features to WPF apps as required, middle-tier business logic on server side using C#, and profiling and optimising SQL Server performance.
Main Responsibilities
Hands-on coding using C# (back-end) and Angular/TypeScript/JavaScript/CSS/HTML5 (front-end)
Designing intuitive application workflows and user interfaces using HTML5
Designing and implementing middle-tier RESTful Web APIs
Developing, profiling and troubleshooting SQL Server schemas and stored procedures
Optimizing applications for performance
Following Agile/SCRUM practices, and making suggestions for continuous improvement in our development processes
Required
Expertise (4-6 years) in either C# (preferred) or Java

Against: Estimated salary is below the going rate
