Enterprise Architect with extensive high level stakeholder engagement and proven experience aligning business strategy with technical roadmapping is sought by a not-for-profit organisation based in central Birmingham. With a digitalization & legacy upgrade program in full swing this Enterprise Architect will play a lead role in improving the proactive, data driven business approach spearheading best in class technology (AI, ML, Cloud, Data) to achieve these key objectives. This role would suit an existing Enterprise Architect who is looking for more autonomy and scope to work on projects of national significance or a Solutions architect with experience delivering multi year technical roadmaps who is looking to step up into an Enterprise architect role. This Enterprise Architect should have most of the following key skills:
- A strong background in multi-year technical roadmapping and design
- Proven experience owning the design and implementation of IT services
- Exposure to managing risk and owning remedies within a multi vendor environment
- Demonstrable experience working within a multi-disciplinary team (Solution architects, developers, infrastructure, testers etc)
- A background in infrastructure of system management would be a real plus
- A real thought leader in the business impact of new technology across AI, ML, cloud, data governance etc
- Experience working in the not for profit, higher education or regulatory sector would be useful
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions to non-technical, senior stakeholders
