We're looking for an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead IT operations across our UK business, supporting cancer centres, compounding facilities and home healthcare services. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering reliable, secure and high-performing IT services across a complex multi-site healthcare environment.
The role
You'll lead IT operations across the UK, overseeing infrastructure, networks, service delivery, cloud and data centre operations, service desk, platform support, and supplier performance.
This role suits a strong operational leader with technical expertise, commercial awareness and a passion for service excellence.
Key responsibilities
Lead, develop and mentor the IT Operations team across infrastructure, networks, service desk and support Oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring reliable, secure and resilient services Manage incident, problem and change processes in line with ITIL principles Monitor and improve service performance, including SLAs, KPIs and customer satisfaction Support business-critical platforms, including D365 and other core systems Manage third-party vendors and service providers to meet delivery expectations Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to align IT services with operational needs Contribute to IT strategy, delivery planning, governance and continuous improvement
About you
You're a confident, collaborative IT leader with strong experience in complex operational environments.
Essential
Proven experience leading IT operations, infrastructure and service delivery teams Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, networks, servers, storage, virtualisation, backups, cloud services and systems administration Experience with ITIL-aligned incident, problem and change management Strong supplier, risk and budget management experience Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to translate technical issues into practical business outcomes
