Media Studies Lecturer (Full-Time)
Location: Cardiff Contract: Full-Time, temporary Hours: 24 Teaching Hours per Week Start Date: Between 1 September and 7 September
Reed Further Education is recruiting on behalf of a college seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Media Studies Lecturer to deliver teaching across two campuses.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Media specialist to teach learners across Levels 2 and 3, helping to develop their knowledge, skills and progression within the creative industries.
The Role
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective Media Studies lessons whilst supporting learners to achieve their full potential.
The remaining contracted hours will be allocated to:
Lesson preparation and planning Assessment and marking Administration Learner support Other associated lecturer duties
About You
We are keen to hear from candidates who have:
Experience teaching Media Studies at Level 2 and/or Level 3. Strong subject knowledge and current industry awareness within Media Studies. Experience teaching and assessing learners within a Further Education setting. A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, QTS or equivalent (desirable). The ability to work flexibly across multiple campuses. Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management skills.
