Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to secure your first secondary school teaching position?

About the Role
As an ECT Teacher, you'll join a supportive secondary school committed to helping you develop into an outstanding classroom practitioner. You'll benefit from structured mentoring, a comprehensive ECT induction programme, and ongoing professional development while teaching within your chosen subject specialism.
We are recruiting for a range of subjects, including:
English Mathematics Science Humanities Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Computer Science Design Technology PE Arts and Creative Subjects
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum. Inspire and motivate students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with Key Stage 5 opportunities available in some schools. Assess, monitor, and support student progress. Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment. Work collaboratively with experienced colleagues, mentors, and wider school staff. Fully engage with your ECT induction programme and professional development opportunities.
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS completion. A degree and subject specialism relevant to secondary education. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Passion for inspiring young people and making a positive impact. A positive, proactive, and committed approach to teaching and learning. A genuine desire to develop as an outstanding teacher.
