Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Warrington + London Travel (2 Days)
£35,000-£40,000 + Car Allowance
A well-established construction group is strengthening its residential division and expanding the commercial team to support a growing pipeline of projects. The work spans live residential schemes, refurbishment programmes and complex building safety projects , giving you exposure to a variety of commercial challenges. You'll be based in the North West but will travel to London regularly to support the Senior Commercial Manager on active sites and commercial reporting.
We're looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who's proactive, capable and comfortable taking responsibility
- someone who can work at pace, communicate well and contribute confidently within a busy commercial team.
Responsibilities
The Key Responsibilities:
Assist with valuations, CVRs and cost reporting Support procurement, subcontract orders and variations Attend London site visits to gather commercial information and support delivery teams Maintain accurate measures, records and commercial documentation Build strong working relationships with site teams, subcontractors and consultants Contribute to commercial risk/opportunity reviews Quantity surveying
What we're looking for:
Assistant QS with 1-3 years' experience Confident communicator who can hold their own with site teams and subcontractors Organised, proactive and commercially aware Degree in Quantity Surveying (or working towards it) preferred Comfortable travelling to London regularly Commercial capability
