Bedford, Bedfordshire (Office Based with Site Visits)

A well-established and financially secure main contractor is looking to recruit a Project Quantity Surveyor to join its growing commercial team based in Bedford. The company delivers a mixture of refurbishment, fit-out, extension and new build projects across the public and private sectors and has built an excellent reputation for quality, repeat business and staff retention. 1

The Role
Based from the Bedford office, you’ll manage the commercial aspects of 2-3 projects simultaneously, with project values typically ranging from £500,000 to £2 million.
Your primary project will be a £2 million Civic Centre Refurbishment in Runnymede, comprising:
Library refurbishment Police station refurbishment Council offices refurbishment
In addition, you’ll be commercially responsible for two further projects in Kensington & Chelsea, involving commercial centre and external works projects. These schemes are predominantly local authority-funded and delivered under JCT contracts. 1
The role is office-based with regular site visits, providing a good balance between commercial management and project involvement on site.
