Commissioning Engineer
You'll play a key role in the commissioning and energisation of electrical infrastructure projects ranging from 11kV through to 132kV, working closely with project teams, clients and network operators to ensure safe and successful project delivery.For engineers looking to progress their authorisation levels and gain exposure to higher voltage systems, structured training and development is available. What You'll Be Doing
Commissioning and testing electrical systems from 11kV to 132kV Producing and implementing commissioning plans and inspection test documentation Carrying out primary and secondary injection testing Testing and commissioning switchgear, transformers, cables and protection systems Supporting energisation activities on substation, renewable and private network projects Conducting fault finding and diagnostic investigations Producing commissioning reports and technical documentation Working closely with project delivery teams and key stakeholders Supporting the development of junior engineers where required Ensuring all activities are completed in line with industry safety standards and procedures
What We're Looking For
Experience commissioning HV electrical infrastructure projects Background within substations, renewables, ICP, utility or DNO environments Knowledge of protection schemes and electrical testing procedures Experience working on systems from 11kV to 132kV HNC, HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred Full UK Driving Licence ECS, EUSR or relevant industry certification advantageous
