Monitor and supervise subcontractors and site operatives, including groundworkers, steel erection teams, and other specialist trades. Produce and maintain accurate site records, including survey information, quality records, and as-built documentation. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards. Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across all site activities. Provide engineering support during project mobilisation and early-stage site setup. Assist the Site Manager in the day-to-day delivery of projects and provide management cover during periods of absence or annual leave. Support project planning and problem-solving to ensure work is delivered efficiently and safely. Coach, mentor, and develop trainee and junior Site Engineers, sharing technical knowledge and best practice.

Competent in the use of modern surveying instruments and site engineering software. Excellent understanding of construction health and safety requirements and industry best practice. Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and resolve technical issues on site. Experience producing accurate site records and as-built information. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and support junior team members. Capable of stepping into a project leadership role for short periods when required.
