Electrical Installation Lecturer
Location: Durham Contract: Temporary, ongoing Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week Employer: The Supply Register (on behalf of New College Durham)
We are currently recruiting an Electrical Installation Lecturer to support New College Durham. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced lecturers or qualified electrical professionals looking to move into teaching.
The Role
As an Electrical Installation Lecturer , you will deliver engaging lessons and support learners in developing the practical skills and knowledge required for careers in the electrical industry.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering Electrical Installation lessons across a range of levels Supporting learners with practical workshop activities and assessments Preparing students for apprenticeships, industry placements and employment Monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback Promoting safeguarding, health & safety, and professional standards
What We're Looking For
Relevant industry experience in Electrical Installation Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or equivalent Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain) Knowledge of current electrical regulations and industry standards Experience within Further Education or apprenticeship delivery (desirable) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
