4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights 7-7)

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our Manchester Dairy within our Müller Milk & Ingredients business.
The main purpose of the Laboratory Technician is assuring quality performance through analysis, subject knowledge and testing performance whilst striving to continuously improve in line with the Müller values.
Lab Technician Key tasks:
Provide expertise through quality based testing and data evaluation Demonstrate active involvement in solving problems / trouble shooting through data analysis and evaluation Play an active part in building QMS capability across site Responsible for laboratory tasks and management systems (5S etc) Support and process confirms operations quality control responsibilities Provide governance and ownership of Quality Index and other monthly reports Responsible for internal and external audit processes
Looks for “waste” in everything that we do Actively seeks out improvement opportunities within the workplace and converts to own continuous improvement projects Collaboratively works with other team members to improve our business
We’re looking for the following from our Lab Technicians:
HACCP Awareness (Level 2-3) Basic Food Hygiene Microbiology and aseptic techniques Internal Audit Yellow and Green belt problem solving A3 problem solving Word and Excel Electronic Data Capture Eden Technologist Dairy Science
