Introduction
We are currently recruiting for a Lab Technician to join a small, friendly team within a production environment in Taunton.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience working with chemicals who is looking to develop their skills within a technical and hands-on role.
What We Offer
Permanent position.
£12.71-£13.75 per hour, depending on experience.
35 hours per week.
Monday to Friday day shifts.
Immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities
Clean, test and etch small components and assemblies.
Handle chemicals safely, including bulk handling of materials up to 25kg.
Follow production processes and work instructions.
Work in line with Health & Safety and COSHH requirements.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Work as part of a small team to meet production requirements.
Carry out tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements
Previous experience working with chemicals, preferably within a production or manufacturing environment.
Experience handling chemical materials, including weights of up to 25kg.
Good understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
Ability to follow detailed processes and instructions.
Reliable, flexible and positive attitude.
Ability to work effectively as part of a small team.
