Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist
Location: Rotherham Start Date: ASAP Contract: Temporary Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:30
Our client is seeking an experienced Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join their team in Rotherham. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled OT to provide high-quality care and support to children and families in a community setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialist paediatric occupational therapy interventions in line with best practice.
Administer, score, and report on standardized assessments including Movement ABC-2 , VMI , and TVPS .
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support children’s functional development and participation.
Provide advice and guidance to parents, carers, and education staff to promote inclusion and independence.
Requirements:
HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in paediatrics .
Competence in administering and interpreting Movement ABC-2 , VMI , and TVPS assessments.
Ability to start ASAP and commit through November.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
