Quantity Surveyor Quantity Surveyor. An opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to work for a leading retrofit contractor based in Hamilton working on multiple projects within the central belt, managed from Hamilton. The Quantity Surveyor will work in a positive working environment where teamwork, transparency and customer service are key. The Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor with experience of commercial, industrial and residential construction project experience. Within this Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor role, you will seek to minimise the cost and risk of a construction project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required legal standards and quality. This includes ensuring statutory building regulations are met. The Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor will prepare estimates and costs of the work and when the project is in progress, you will keep track of any variations to the contract that may affect costs and create reports to show profitability. Working either in an office or on site, you will be involved in every stage of a project. Projects include commercial, industrial, and residential constructions.
