Service Architect

£550 - £600/Day Inside IR35

We are seeking a Service Architect for our Government client and can be based at your preferred local office (they have offices nationwide). The role will be a mix of office based and remote working.
The Service Architect will be an initial 6 month contract paying between £550 - £600/Day Inside IR35.
This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Role Profile:
As a Service Architect, through the creation of Service and Product Designs, you'll define how we support our technology. Working with multidisciplinary teams, you'll document how we do what we do, making sure that our systems are correctly supported with the flexibility to be quickly transformed You will be called upon to provide IT Service Management Consultancy to help provide subject matter expertise and insights to resolve complex issues and introduce service improvements A good understanding of a broad range of technologies and can converse easily with and translate between non-technical stakeholders and technical teams. You will draw on your experiences in Service Architecture to offer insights and expertise to Service Owners, to help guide them in delivering a better quality of service to the end users You'll have demonstrable experience of writing Service Design Packages aligned to the ITIL Framework with a strong understanding of all aspects of service management with the ability to deliver new services and products as well as improving existing offerings.
Detailed knowledge of Service Management concepts and techniques
A strong operational understanding of service supply chains
Working to tight timescales within a team environment
Ability to lead teams both virtual and co-located.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Experience of service operating model design
The ability to write coherent and concise service documentation.
Experience of creating and negotiation SLA's
Service Management qualifications (eg ITIL, ISO20000) or relevant operational experience
Knowledge of IT security standards
Experience of using IT Service Management Toolsets, such as ServiceNow to use, create and maintain service records
Knowledge of the Common Services Data Model and Service Hierarchy concepts
