This engineering consultancy typically punches well above it’s weight with the kind of projects it brings in and has expanded it’s operation significantly. Projects come from various sectors and range up to £100, they include:
Local schools Hospitals Healthcare facilities Local authorities
As a senior technician, you will have the following responsibilities:
Detailed drawing and modelling duties on building structures from a range of sectors Working closely with and supporting senior engineers Using Revit Structure Obtaining a good understanding of issues on site and devising and providing solutions Communicating with contractors, architects and engineers Assisting in the development of junior technicians and engineers Keeping your skills with emerging software and design practices up to date through CPD Using your knowledge of the design process to assist in the delivery of projects
A key factor for this role is someone who enjoys interactions with other staff and industry peers. Building and maintaining relationships is a key part of the company ethos. Experience using Revit Excellent communication skills Knowledge of the design process A keen interest in working in a digital BIM environment
