Senior Mechanical Design Engineer | Aberdeen
£64,000 - £76,000 DOE Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 4:30pm
We're recruiting for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading marine engineering business in Aberdeen.
What we're looking for: 5-10 years' experience in Mechanical Design Engineering Strong background in lifting equipment design & lifting calculations Experience with fabrication, structural analysis and marine equipment Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD and Mathcad Knowledge of industry standards including DNV, LOLER and PUWER Degree/HND in Mechanical or Marine Engineering
The role: Design and develop bespoke offshore and marine handling equipment Produce calculations, technical reports and manufacturing drawings Perform lifting and structural analysis using industry software Support projects from concept through to installation and commissioning Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers
