We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Locum General Sonographer to join our healthcare team in London. Responsibilities:
As a Locum General Sonographer, you will conduct a variety of ultrasound scans, ensuring accurate and high-quality imaging to assist in patient diagnosis and care. Working closely with patients, you will explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort throughout the process. You will adhere to all relevant protocols and safety standards while maintaining clear and thorough documentation. Additionally, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the smooth operation of the department during weekend shifts.
Qualifications and Experience:
HCPC or relevant registration as a Sonographer.
Proven experience in general sonography, including abdominal, pelvic, and soft tissue scans.
Advanced technical proficiency with ultrasound equipment.
Strong understanding of patient care and safety protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions.
Ability to work independently and efficiently during weekend shifts.
Commitment to maintaining high professional and ethical standards .
